Non-electronic design with long service life. It activates automatically only when lightning strikes and features an early discharge function. Adopting a fully active lightning interception system, it maintains electrical continuity and stable performance even after repeated lightning discharges.
The electric field energy between the central collecting rod and exciter of the lightning rod rises rapidly, resulting in air ionization at the tip and enabling discharge within an extremely short and precise time. The presence of abundant ions weakens the natural corona effect and forms a predictable upward discharge channel, which can intercept lightning quickly and safely and discharge lightning current to the ground reliably.

Calculation Formula for Protection Radius of Early Streamer Emission Lightning Rod
Let △T be the advance activation time of the lightning rod, the advance distance of the upward leader △L=V×△T. In accordance with the calculation method specified in NFC-17-102 standard,
the protection radius Rp is calculated by the following formula:
![]()
D refers to the striking distance, which depends on the protection grade of the protected building. For Class III protected objects, the D values are 20m, 45m and 60m respectively.
h is the height from the top of the lightning rod to the protected plane.
△T is obtained through evaluation, testing and calculation (see the table above). V=v×10⁶m/s, △L=V×△T
