● LYX-R/L is a protector for electronic measurement and control lines of ungrounded (asymmetric, floating) twisted-pair systems, and all data cables with voltage not exceeding 110V and frequency not exceeding 2MHz. It protects relevant equipment from surge overvoltages caused by lightning or traveling waves on data cables. It is installed at the boundary of LPZ1→LPZ3.
● The two-stage circuit of LYX-R/L consists of gas discharge tubes, varistors and clamping diodes, featuring large discharge capacity, fast clamping response and low protection level.
● The LY-X-R/L protector can be installed in any standard switch box or distribution box, and simply mounted on a 35mm DIN rail.
LYX-R/L series control signal surge protectors (DIN-rail type) are mainly used for protection against lightning (overvoltage) intruding along low-voltage control signal lines. They are widely applied in financial systems, telecommunication systems, transportation systems, petrochemical industrial control systems, monitoring control lines, instrument and meter signal lines, etc. The product complies with GB18802.1, IEC61643 and other relevant standards.
