● The SPD adopts a single-pole design, which can be used alone or combined into two-pole, three-pole or four-pole types. Built-in disconnector is equipped inside the SPD. When the SPD fails due to overheating or breakdown, the disconnector can automatically disconnect it from the power grid and send out an indication signal. The visual window shows green during normal operation and turns red after failure and disconnection.
● Common combination types include: 1P+NPE, 2P, 2P+NPE, 3P, 3P+NPE and 4P. They are applicable to single-phase and three-phase power protection of various power supply and distribution systems such as TT, TN-C and TN-C-S.
LYD7 series low-voltage power distribution system surge protectors (SPD for short) adopt modular design and combination. They are suitable for protecting against lightning surges and other transient overvoltages in low-voltage AC power distribution systems with TT, TN-C, TN-S, TN-C-S and IT power supply modes.

● LYD7-D20 is applicable to Class D protection in three-level lightning protection system. It is installed at the boundary of LPZ1/LPZ2 and LPZ3 zones, mounted on 35mm standard DIN rail, and connected with 2.5-16mm² stranded copper conductors.
● LYD7-C40 is applicable to Class C protection in three-level lightning protection system. It is installed at the boundary of LPZ0B/LPZ1 and LPZ2 zones, mounted on 35mm standard DIN rail, and connected with 2.5-35mm² stranded copper conductors.
● LYD7-B60 is applicable to Class B or Class C protection in three-level lightning protection system. It is installed at the boundary of LPZ0B/LPZ1 and LPZ2 zones, mounted on 35mm standard DIN rail, and connected with 2.5-35mm² stranded copper conductors.
● The SPD must be equipped with fuses or miniature circuit breakers for backup protection. The selection of backup protection shall comply with GB18802.1-2011.
● To avoid impact on power grid operation safety caused by SPD failure, a matching LYSCB backup protector shall be connected in series at the front end of each pole surge protector.
