● The SPD is single-port type, featuring electric shock protection, indoor fixed installation, and voltage-limiting operation.
● Features high impulse current (Iimp: 15kA) and low residual voltage (Up: ≤1.5kV).
● The SPD is equipped with a built-in disconnector. When the SPD fails due to overheating and breakdown, the disconnector automatically disconnects it from the power grid and sends an indication signal. The viewing window shows white during normal operation and red after failure.
LYD1-I15 Surge Protective Devices (hereinafter referred to as SPD) are suitable for TT, TN and other power supply systems of 50/60Hz AC and below 420V, providing protection against lightning strikes or other transient overvoltages. They are applied for Class I (Class B) lightning protection of power systems in areas with high lightning risk, installed at the junction of LPZ0B zone and LPZ1 zone. The product complies with GB50057, GB18802.1 and other standards.

● The product is installed at the junction of LPZ0A / LPZ0B zone and LPZ1 zone, or at the main distribution box (cabinet) where the power is introduced, mounted on 35mm standard DIN rail. The connecting conductors adopt 6~35mm² multi-strand copper flexible wires.
● The grounding conductor shall adopt bicolor wires with cross-section ≥16mm² and length ≤500mm.
● To prevent the failure of surge protective devices from affecting the safe operation of the power grid, the protectors connected to the L line shall be connected in series with a matching LYSCB backup protector.
