● U-type structure, voltage-limited combination, differential-mode and common-mode protection.
● Built-in overheating and overcurrent protection mechanism.
● Local fault indication: white for normal operation, red after tripping and failure.
● An alarm module is optional to realize remote signal telecommunication.
● Integrated structure design with large discharge capacity.
LYD1-PV series surge protective devices (hereinafter referred to as SPD) are mainly used for lightning protection of photovoltaic low-voltage DC power distribution systems. Adopting a brand-new design, the product features a maximum continuous operating voltage of up to 1500V, which can effectively prevent lightning current from damaging photovoltaic supporting facilities such as solar panels, photovoltaic combiner boxes, DC power distribution cabinets and inverters.
LYD1-PV series SPDs provide common mode (MC) and differential mode (MD) protection. The product complies with standards including IEC61643-1 and GB50057-2010.

● Mounted on 35mm standard DIN rail, connected with 6~35mm² multi-strand copper flexible cables.
● The grounding wire shall adopt a two-color conductor of more than 16mm², and the length shall not exceed 500mm.
● To prevent the failure of the surge protective device from affecting the safe operation of the power grid, a matching LYSCB backup protector must be connected in series at the front end of each pole of the surge protective device.
