● The surge protective device in the lightning protection box is equipped with a failure indication device: green indicates normal operation, and red indicates failure.
● The circuit breaker (fuse) in the lightning protection box ensures that the surge protective device is disconnected from the power grid after failure.
● The alarm is an integral part of the failure indication device, which can indicate the failure of the surge protective device through audible and visual signals. If the fault cannot be eliminated in time, the stop button can be pressed to pause the buzzer, but the red indicator light will still show the fault status. If the fault is not eliminated after 24 hours, the buzzer will sound again. It is optional for users according to actual needs.
● The LYD‑S series explosion-proof power surge arrester (hereinafter referred to as lightning protection box) is applicable to 50/60Hz AC and 380V power supply systems, serving as a surge protection device against indirect lightning, direct lightning impacts and other transient overvoltages.
● The power lightning protection box complies with GB18802.1, IEC61643-1 and YD/T1235.1 standards.
Classification
● By power grid type: Single-phase, Three-phase four-wire; By application scenario: Type B, Deluxe type.
● Type B: Installed at the secondary side of the main automatic switch (fuse) of the incoming power distribution box.
● Type C: Distribution boxes with wiring length over 15 meters from the incoming power box, installed at the secondary side of the main automatic switch (or fuse).
● Type D: Installed at the secondary side of the main automatic switch (or fuse) of terminal distribution boxes.
● By voltage limiting level: 1-2kV, 1.5-2kV, 1-3kV.
● By connection type: Parallel connection, series connection (series connection includes 2-stage and 3-stage).
● By accessory configuration: Type A, B, C and other models.
