The backup protector, when used in the SCB of the backup power system, is an external disconnect device that is connected in series with the surge protector. It is suitable for power supply systems of TT, TN types, etc., with an AC voltage range of 50/60Hz and 230V - 400V.

1. When a transient overvoltage occurs on the power line, the SPD conducts, emits sound, melts and shorts out, which may cause the power supply to trip and lead to a serious fire accident. Installing SCB means that when the SPD experiences a transient overvoltage short circuit, it can quickly disconnect the circuit to avoid accidents caused by the SPD melting and shorting. 

When a lightning current passes through the SCB, this external disconnector will not malfunction due to the lightning current, ensuring that the lightning protection function of the electrical equipment remains effective at all times.
